Job Coach

You will provide Job Coach support to interns in their work placements within Haringey Council.
We are looking for a Job Coach to support the delivery of this project.
You will:

- Work in partnership with Haringey SEND team to recruit and select interns
- Develop internship opportunities
- Work with team to match interns to internship opportunities
- Support and train interns to ensure they gain practical and competitive skills
- Work with managers/mentors to support interns' progress and solve any challenges

This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

In this team you will provide individually tailored support for young interns helping them to integrate into the work environment, developing skills and knowledge that will lead to paid employment., Experience of supporting people
- Knowledge of supported employment
- A-C/9-4 English (or equivalent)
- Have an interest in and desire to know more about learning disability and autism
- Adaptable to work in range of environments
- Effective/accurate record keeping and reporting
