Full Job Description

This role supports our Foundation learners to develop both their life and learning skills through the coordination of work experience opportunities as well as working closely with learners to assess their individual abilities and support needs. Our supported internship scheme offers our learners access to high quality work experience opportunities at a range of employers including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, The College of West Anglia and the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk as well as one day a week in college where they receive tuition and guidance from the Job Coach. The Job Coach also works with our partners to ensure that placements are meaningful and that appropriate risk assessments are in place to give the learners the best possible introduction to work., Please note that all interviews are conducted face to face, we are unable to facilitate online interviews.

You will be required to provide references and undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check as well as a barred list check. This is a challenging and rewarding role focusing on providing the very best opportunities for our learners. Due to the nature of this role you must have previous experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities. You do not need to hold a teaching or assessing qualification as we will support you through obtaining this. Your passion and enthusiasm for working with and inspiring our learners with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities is paramount, as well as excellent communication, prioritization and motivational skills.
