Full Job Description

In this extremely rewarding role, you will work under the direction and supervision of managers and teaching staff to provide high quality and appropriately targeted support to learners with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities. This in turn will facilitate their independence, personal care needs, access to learning and integration into the College community. To help you achieve this, you will be working as part of a hardworking, passionate and supportive team that is committed to getting the best out of our learners.

While you will work predominantly within the Supported Learning area led by the LSW Team Leader and managed by the Head of Department, you will also be required to work with a number of learner groups across the Department., NCG seeks to promote and maintain an equal, diverse, inclusive and supportive environment for work and study that assists all members of our communities to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will have sound literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 achievement/ability in English and maths), competent IT skills and be willing to undertake regular CPD.
