Full Job Description

Provides in-region subject matter expertise, analysis and consulting services to support internal functional, regional and local stakeholders. Executes allocated global projects and cyclical global compensation programmes and strategies. Partners with Regional and Functional HR Business Partners providing expert guidance and consultation to align compensation strategies with business objectives and regional needs. Acts as a key member of the Global Compensation team and the EMEA Regional People Leadership Team. Assumes responsibility for one or more global programmes and Functions.,

  • Collaborates with the Compensation Director and team to manage all compensation programs efficiently and on time. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance our employee compensation initiatives, positioning AVEVA as an employer of choice.
  • Provides subject matter expertise, researches, and analyses while offering high-level internal consulting support to Functional and Regional HR Business Partners and line management. Addresses a variety of compensation issues related to their assigned locations, functions, cyclical compensation programs, and global projects.
  • Acts as a key member of the Regional EMEA Leadership Team (PLT), playing an active role in promoting compensation initiatives, gaining support, and participating in regional People Team projects.
  • Supports the HRBP that has primary accountability for the respective EMEA Works Councils/unions, ensuring that compensation strategies and policies comply with local regulations and labour agreements. Effectively communicates and implements compensation programs while addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with collective agreements.
  • Ensures compliance with compensation regulations and reporting requirements specific to the assigned region.
  • Partners with Functional HRBPs to identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of compensation initiatives within the assigned functions. Coordinates with the People strategy to optimize outcomes.
  • Provides in-region education and guidance on compensation matters, empowering management to effectively attract, retain, and reward employees in line with AVEVA's pay-for-performance philosophy.
  • Assists in the design, implementation, administration and governance of compensation programs and projects, while also providing Reward-focused support for non-compensation processes and initiatives.
  • Ensures regional compensation programs align with AVEVA's compensation philosophy, financial goals, and government regulations. Collaborates with in-country statutory bodies, , to assess the effectiveness of programs and policies and identifies areas for further improvement.
  • Important Working Relationships:
  • The role reports to the Global Compensation Director. Close working relationships with the compensation team, the wider Reward CoE and Global Human Resources Team, particularly Regional COE leads and Functional HRBPs, is essential to provide a consistent and joined up approach to all Reward activities.
  • It is important that the Strategic Reward Business Partner is comfortable interacting with employees of all levels and positions throughout the company. As a multi-national company, the post-holder requires sensitivity to other perspectives and cultures.

    10+ years of relevant work experience in Compensation with at least 5 years managing, influencing stakeholders and administering compensation programs.
  • Sound knowledge of industry leading compensation or reward best practice.
  • Extensive experience working with countries in the EMEA region and their Works Councils.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within region and take initiative while also being an effective team member.
  • Understanding of effective business operations and strategy and demonstrated ability to link pay and performance with the goals of AVEVA.
  • Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs and develop solutions to resolve them.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships; interface and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and interpretation skills; with an emphasis on advanced level Excel skills.
  • Strong consulting, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
