Job offer Power Controls Engineer

A multinational company is looking to hire a Power Electronics Controls Engineer to join their team in Birmingham who will work on micro-grid and PV based power converter control systems and control algorithms., As well as developing control algorithms for power electronics, your other duties will include the following:

• Embedded software including communication stacks and RTOS


• Grid-tied inverters


• Develop PCBs and custom tools


• Design and evaluate prototypes


• Performance validation

To be considered for this Power Electronics Controls Engineer, you will require a proven background in the following:

• Power Converters.


• Control Architectures


• System simulation + Algorithms: MATLAB and Simulink.


• Lab validation/measurement skills.
