More about your role ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT: MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE SO YOU CAN GET TO THE JOBS - WE SUPPLY THE VAN. As a Joiner you will use all your experience to undertake joinery to a high standard. You will get a new power tool kit, vehicle, Apple iPad and phone as we know it's more than just being a joiner. You will work independently, knowing how to speak with people and organise the work activity are key strengths. This role will be varied from working in empty homes, upgrading homes or dealing with our customers responsive repairs in their homes we offer variety. If you can do other basic skills in plumbing, plastering, tiling and any other associated trade skills we offer extra pay through our reward framework. Although this role is advertised in a specific location, you will be working in surrounding areas of Sheffied. The working hours are 40 per week across Monday to Friday. You will have experience in joinery.
- You will have NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification - if you don't have this for candidates with the right attitude, we can support you get this qualification
- You need to know Health and Safety in the workplace - we don't like accidents and believe you should be always supported to keep yourself safe and those around you.
- Experience of working in domestic housing environment would be ideal but not essential
- As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check
- If you have other skills such as experience of fire door conversion and/or working with fireproof materials would be considered advantageous
