The Maintenance craftsperson will be part of the multi-skilled team within the Estates Department. The post holder will assist in providing day-to-day joinery repairs and maintenance associated with the upkeep of the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust Estate and its external client's premises. To carry out maintenance, inspection, non-routine minor works or alteration, routine and non-routine repairs, fault finding and problem solving, and also carry out new work as required, based around the skillset of a time served joiner., We are looking to recruit a self motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Joinery and building knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding / repairs on a wide range of building services equipment . The day to day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is a wholly owned company, entirely owned by the Trust., 1. To take specific responsibility for carrying out certain core duties as detailed by Team Leaders, to include but not limited to doors and associated hardware and building fabric repairs within skillset.
+ To consistently produce acceptable standards of productivity, workmanship and discipline demonstrating co-operation and versatility, Observing statutory and other relevant requirements particularly those related to Health and Safety issues.

+ Ensure the risk of infection to yourself, colleagues, patients, relatives and visitors is minimised by:
o being familiar with, and adhering to Trust policies and guidance on infection prevention and control
o attending Trust Induction Programme(s) and statutory education programmes in infection prevention and control
o including infection prevention and control as an integral part of your continuous personal/professional development
o taking personal responsibility so far as is reasonably practicable, in helping ensure that effective prevention and control of health care acquired infections is embedded into everyday practice and applied consistently by you and your colleagues
