Full Job Description
As a Journalism Coordinator you will be working at the very heart of the production supporting BBC Breakfast's editorial and tech team across the output of the daily live programme. Responsibilities include but not limited to meeting and greeting guests; coordinating travel logistics for studio guests; liaising with other production departments; supporting on screen talent; as well as maintaining and organising production paperwork including consent and release forms.
You'll need to be a problem solver; calm when working under pressure as well as being a good team player with a 'can do' attitude and have good attention to detail.,
- Demonstrable interest in Broadcast Television
- Experience of working on Studio, Outside Broadcast, theatre or location based productions with the ability to be flexible and change direction easily.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people.
- Demonstratable strong organisational and planning skills with good attention to detail, creatively problem solving calmly and prioritise activities to meet deadlines
- Experience of working as part of a team, with the ability to and manage relationships effectively and collaboratively within a diverse team.

Please note that this role involves early shifts/starts. These roles will be rota'd to work 3 days per week from 0500 - 1000, including weekend work.
