Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking doctor to join our Respiratory Medicine Department as Junior Specialty doctor - Higher at City Hospital, MMUH and Sandwell General Hospital. The post will be a fixed term post for a period of 1 year. The post would be at aimed at junior grade ST 3 + level (i.e. 3/4 years post qualification/post foundation level) and whilst not approved training posts we would mirror the training opportunities to those given to training post holders., The successful post holder would be working in a team of 10 middle grade doctors, 13 consultants, junior doctors, specialist nurses, lung physiologists and physiotherapists to look after respiratory patients in Birmingham City MMUH and Sandwell General Hospital. Participation in general medical on call rota is highly desirable.
