Junior Application developer

AJW Group are seeking a motivated Junior Application Developer to join our Business Applications team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing and supporting software applications that enable our business to achieve its goals and objectives. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our users have a reliable and secure experience while working closely with other departments to meet their software needs and drive technological efficiency.,

• Develop, and maintain business application solutions to meet the needs of the organization.


• Analyse user requirements and offer solutions in collaboration with senior members of the business applications team.


• Design, code, test and debug the software applications.


• Provide technical support for users of the software applications by troubleshooting issues as they arise, all in a timely manner.


• Develop and maintain documentation related to the business applications, including user manuals, specifications, and training materials


• Provide guidance and support on best practises related to the use of business applications throughout the company


• Work with Vendors to ensure that all software is up to date, properly maintained and optimised accordingly.


• Close user tickets in a timely manner and maintain the business as usual queue according to KPI's
  
  Basic knowledge of systems and desired technical languages. (Systems include but not limited to Quantum, Jira, AvSight, HubSpot and Esker), (technical languages include but not limited to SQL)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

This role may be eligible for hybrid working after 3-month probation (2 days WFH).
