Junior Beauty Editor, Marie Claire

Marie Claire UK is looking for a dynamic Junior Beauty Editor who loves storytelling to position MC as a digital destination that is brimming with thoughtful, fun and purpose-driven beauty content,

A data-driven journalist, you will live and breathe beauty an be filled with engaging and on-brand content ideas for all Marie Claire's beauty touchpoints.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Editor you will work with the Beauty team to help ensure Marie Claire's beauty finger is firmly on the pulse through agenda-setting content that is full of personality and reflects the Marie Claire brand tone. Your remit will include everything from SEO, short snappy news and trend-led stories to shopping buying guides and engaging video content, plus you'll help co-ordinate Awards.

• In-depth knowledge of digital analytics tools, demonstrating this by the successful implementation of insights across the Beauty channel, using them to create reports and tailor and maximise engagement of content


• You'll have meticulous attention to detail with the ability to create razor-sharp copy that is on-brand and engaging.


• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to create content that ranks highly for search


• Knowledge of using affiliate platforms and associated tools


• Beauty industry knowledge


• Digital-first approach and understanding of new content platforms
