Join our team as a Junior Buyer, and you'll get to take the next step in your buying career! You'll support our Buyer and Senior Buyer to bring a fantastic range of products to our customers.

Working closely with a number of our key business development partners, as well as supporting and working with some famous brands and suppliers, you'll get hands-on experience at the heart of a highly skilled team whilst enjoying the autonomy to build great relationships and achieve your goals. Whatever direction you take in the future, you'll be well equipped to progress.

To support your development, you'll also have an opportunity to complete a Level 4 apprenticeship in Buying & Merchandising! You'll be able to start your apprenticeship within 3 months of joining the team (subject to eligibility).

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the management of key supplier relationships in line with our category strategy

  • Selecting and negotiating product ranges, deals and pricing

  • Keeping a close eye on the market to see what new trends are emerging, as well as ensuring we are competitive in our current range

  • Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business


  • You will need:

  • A relevant degree (or equivalent), e.g. Marketing, Merchandising, Retail or Business

  • Experience working with suppliers or within a commercial or buying team

  • Strong problem-solving skills, supported by creative, solution driven thinking

  • To be organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment

  • Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
