Full Job Description

Applications are invited for a junior clinical fellow FY1 post in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation plus Gastroenterology at the Royal Free Hospital, a tertiary Hepatology and Liver Transplant Centre. The Unit has an excellent reputation for clinical care and research. The 4-month post is fully NHS funded and will be most suited to those at an early career stage, wishing to gain experience in Hepatology or considering a career in hepatology or gastroenterology. The post holder will be part of the ward-based team caring for hepatology, gastroenterology, and liver transplant inpatients. Participation in audit, research or quality improvement projects are encouraged. The post includes a contribution to the out-of-hours rota (weekends and evenings only) covering hepatology and liver transplant with the on-call Consultant and registrar. The post rotates through hepatology, liver transplant and gastroenterology.
