Junior Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics

(to include frequency and details of supplements)1B - 1in 10 full shift CXH, 1 in 9 full shift SMH., The role involves working at the level of an ST1 or 2 trainee. This job is split between 6 months at Charing Cross hospital and 6 months at St Mary's Hospital.

This primarily involves the care and assessment of trauma and elective patients, day-to-day care of inpatients, assisting in the operating theatres as well as routine and out of hours resident on call duties. There are also opportunities to participate in specialist theatre sessions and outpatient clinics, to improve experience in these areas. In addition, candidates can avail themselves of the opportunities to become involved with the work undertaken by the Academic Orthopaedic Department.

If the candidate is keen to be involved, there are opportunities to attend or even present at the monthly cross-site Journal Club Meetings and theatre equipment workshops.

Depending on experience £37,068 - £57,570 per annum, plus London Weighting
