Full Job Description

The post is suitable for candidates who have completed Foundation training (or equivalent). It will provide specialized clinical vascular experience and research opportunities that will assist in preparing candidates for specialized training. The post is central to the delivery of vascular services at London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust by supporting emergency and elective services for patients with vascular pathology. The post will be primarily based at Northwick Park Hospital and focused on delivering ward, Hybrid Theatre, Angio Suite and Outpatient clinic support. The post will be involved in all aspects of the treatment and management of vascular patients. There will be opportunity to undertake Audits. The rota is structured on a 6-week rolling rota for 6 doctors. Each doctor will do 7 days of nights, 7 days of daytime ward cover; 5 days of late cover. The rest of their time will be for participation in the activities of the department and to undertake audits., Participate in the continuous provision of vascular service provided by the Trust for patients admitted under the care of the vascular team and in addition cross cover for colleagues when required in a professional and flexible manner to support service delivery
