Full Job Description

The post will be for a JCF in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, primarily working within the Department. The post-holder will get an excellent opportunity to improve their skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology The post-holder is expected to conduct audit and research in the department. The post-holder will participate in the resident on-call rota in both Obstetrics and gynaecology, when they will be expected to do Obstetrics. Occasionally, they will be requested to work in other clinical areas of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department to provide cover. Clinical fellows will be expected to provide active medical input into the management of pre-operative/post-operative patients and Gynaecological emergencies., Junior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology The purpose of this post is to provide extensive training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

  • To participate in on call rota as a JCF.
  • To participate in audit and research.
  • To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care.
  • To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training., 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
  • 2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability 3. Improving the experience of staff with disability 4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development 5. Making equalities mainstream
