As the Junior D&O Underwriter, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Customer and Broker Interaction: Address and resolve inquiries from brokers, customers, and colleagues promptly.
- Underwriting Activities: Perform financial and non-financial reviews of companies and assess key risks and exposures relevant to our line of business under the guidance of an experienced Underwriter.
- International Programme Support: Assist in managing our International Programme portfolio.
- Enhance Productivity: Support general underwriting operations to improve efficiency and productivity driving a better customer and broker service.
- Reporting: Support portfolio manager with the production of relevant reports.
- Policy Processing: Support UWs in handling policies and endorsements.
- Performance Standards: Meet agreed performance measures, ensuring high-quality and timely data input.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.
Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise, organise and plan workloads to meet objectives. - Interpersonal Skills: Strong people skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to finding solutions, even for complex problems.
- Proactive and Innovative Approach: Suggest improvement to procedures and proactively managing tasks.

- Effective numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
