Junior Data Engineer

As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working with the Business Object Data Services, you will design, develop, and support end-to-end data migration processes associated with both SAP and non-SAP based programs. Day-to-day, you'll design and develop SAP BODS and SSIS jobs for data conversion and integration to and from SAP and other sources.

• Enhance the existing toolset to ensure maximum value delivery as the project evolves
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets (Data Collection Workbooks) using SAP load formats (iDoc/BAPI/ABAP Programs) as templates for data analysts.
• Identify and suggest emerging standards and best practices.
• Manage and monitor job schedules, providing fixes for any failed schedules/jobs
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is fully remote.


• Data modelling and data architecture skills using SSIS ETL toolsets and BODS is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in challenging and complex organizations, contributing to technical change.
• Understanding and writing Data Stage ETL specifications and delivering technical solutions to an agreed standard
• Experience delivering solutions using industry-standard methodologies and proven experience working in small teams delivering technical solutions to project requirements., We value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you., The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
