Do you love all things luxury retail?, This is an exciting and innovative role for a creative and driven Junior Designer who we are looking to come on board and help elevating the Harvey Nichols brand, across all our multichannels. The right candidate will thrive within a fast-paced and innovative environment, preferably with a luxury retail background and will work within the Creative & Marketing department. You will deliver inventive and strategically considered and exciting design on both a day-to-day and larger campaign level.,

  • Develop and take design ownership of the Harvey Nichols design footprint, supporting the Design Manager and the Senior Designer in the vision and development of Harvey Nichols design and content.
  • Design and develop high-quality work for digital content, emails, website, affiliates, and social media assets.
  • Lead and manage BAU tasks briefed into the creative team from wider departments, along with seasonal briefs and larger projects set by the business.
  • Implement seasonal brand guidelines and champion brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, ensuring all design outputs adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Comfortable working with CMS design systems and able to understand how to design creative content within those systems.
  • Meet tight deadlines, handling workloads in a calm and professional manner.
  • Stay fully abreast of new trends, technologies and advances in digital design and identify opportunities to apply these.   • Confident to bring strong and unique digital design ideas to the creative team.
  • Knowledge around mobile and desktop web usability best practices, responsive and adaptive design alongside a holistic approach to overall usability and design.
  • Have a high-level skill set with Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, and After Effects - HTML knowledge is appreciated but none-essential
  • Able to design compelling, luxury editorial content.
  • Passion & purpose: Must be comfortable working in a rapidly expanding, highly dynamic/flexible environment.
  • Decision maker: must be comfortable assessing situations and making decisions quickly.
  • Organisation: you will need to be organised and methodical, a self-starter who can manage your own work.
  • Attention to detail: Apply a forensic approach to each stage of the design process to ensure an ideal 'right-first-time' outcome.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
