Full Job Description
To be the Junior Digital Brand Manager for DEWALT, focusing on the ownership of our E2E social media and email marketing, supporting all product, brand, campaign and partnership communication across EMEA ANZ. Collaborate with Brand Managers to complete creative and digital briefs to increase brand development and marketing initiatives across digital platforms. Work with DEWALT lead social agency, Indicia Worldwide to improve social channels and implement effective campaigns. Lead the creation of lo-fi social first content across NPD launches & campaigns, establishing greater connections, strengthening our community and enabling us to win with the younger pro. Support the creation and implementation of region-wide Brand/Product campaigns, ensuring all assets adhere to Global and Media Guidelines across paid and organic. As a guardian of our brand you must ensure an end user focus remains at the forefront of everything we do. This will require navigating internal challenges to ensure we always do the right thing for our end user. Accountability
- Lead the planning and ideation of DEWALT EMEA ANZ Social Media plan. Work across functions with digital marketing team, graphic design team, agencies and all local markets to create social media posts ensuring all content supports the brand's social media strategy.
- Support DEWALT's 2025 ambassador programme in EMEA ANZ - focusing on supporting brand equity, end-to-end solutions and winning with the younger pro.
- Channel-specific asset creation. Ensure content creation is optimised for specific channels (FB, Instagram, YT, ecomm) and not generic.
- Work with Agency, Brand & Product Managers to ensure NPD shoots include social-first content & develop channel specific assets to support sales and drive connectivity with DEWALT community., Local EMEA ANZ Marketing Teams. Must build relationships with various marketing functions across all focus countries. Understanding each individual region is crucial to success and forms a major part of the role.
- Digital Marketing Team. Work closely with subject matter experts on social media planning, data analytics, reporting, SEO, customer personas, digital platforms and more.
- External Agencies. These relationships include account management teams, producers, creative teams, photographers, videographers and editors. You need to be able to clearly communicate a brief and follow it through to completion.
- Counterparts across the Global Digital & Social Marketing teams.
- Product Management Team. Must have a strong working relationship with the team. Working together from product development stage through to product launch & beyond. The relationship is crucial to communicating our products clearly to our end users.
- Other internal SBD functions. One of the great parts of this role is the wide variety of touch points within our business. Expect to liaise with people in wide ranging functions including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, IT, legal, sales and more.
Degree or professional marketing qualification - Digital Marketing Experience; must be able to demonstrate experience working on digitally focused campaigns
- Brand campaign, social media, influencer marketing, website, eDM's
- Experience developing Amazon A+ content would be advantageous
- Experience of working with external agencies
- Ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders and manage upwards
- Pan-European experience would be advantageous
- Understanding of DEWALT Customer Personas
- Fluent English, beneficial to speak any other European language
- Self-motivation - not all hours are spent in the office
- Creative approach to campaign development & problem solving
- Task ownership and natural ability to lead - proactivity
- Strong commercial acumen & awareness
- Ability to multi-task several programmes & projects with cross functional teams
