As a Junior Event Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the planning and execution of exceptional events across various industries, including Dining, Entertainment, Retail, and Lifestyle, for our corporate clients and concierge members in EMEA. You will be actively involved in coordinating every detail of our events, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver memorable experiences.

In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the logistics, working closely with vendors and partners, managing timelines, and ensuring that all client and member expectations are met. Your focus will be on executing events that drive engagement, ensuring that each event is flawlessly delivered and meets the highest standards.

Your enthusiasm for event management will be key to creating unique and impactful experiences that enhance our service offerings. Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities, you'll ensure our events are always fresh, exciting, and aligned with market expectations. Your eagerness to learn and grow will be essential as you contribute to the successful execution of our events.

  • To maintain relationships with partners during the planning process to ensure we are nurturing an ongoing sustainable relationship for future growth; repeating successful partners

  • To monitor performance of events and ensure they are delivering a consistently high-quality service; driving improvements to member satisfaction/NPS and efficiencies

  • Trusted to host events professionally, serving as a point of contact for the venue, members, and clients. Build and maintain relationships by engaging in conversations with members & clients to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanour while efficiently resolving any issues that arise during events.

  • Demonstrate a keen eye for luxury and high-quality event details, ensuring the event's standards meet the expected level of excellence. Confidently take initiative to improve service delivery in real-time, making adjustments as necessary to enhance the overall event experience.

  • Work closely with Content and Marketing department ensuring all events have maximum exposure to members

  • To be continuously aware of competitors and what they are delivering to ensure we are always one step ahead in the market

  • To ensure you are fully aware of all best practice and are consistently adhering to these

  • To support Event Managers and Senior Event Managers in the procurement of new event partners

  • Contribute to wider strategic goal for the global team or for wider region with support from Global Director and Head of Region

  • To manage your workload in the most effective way in order to deliver on the requirements of the client and internal deadlines

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand event objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Support with the management of event budgets including negotiation and invoice management

  • Work with Client Services and Regional Business Development Managers with any client related matters

    Experience in working with a range of stakeholders

  • Can demonstrate experience of working within a customer-lead industry and strives to continuously deliver excellent customer service

  • A passion for working in a business that places members and customer service at their core as well as commercial success

  • A natural communicator who always takes the time to keep their team and colleagues informed and up to date

  • Great people skills; you will be recognised as a supportive, effective and highly driven colleague. Having the ability to work effectively and professionally during period for high pressure

  • Strong organisational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Keen to develop your expertise further as a key contributor to a high-performing events team in a fast paced business
