Junior Financial Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Financial Analyst to join a market leading engineering company in Huddersfield, our customers are at the heart of our business, therefore top quality service is everything!

We would be keen to hear from you if you have the following skills or experience;

· Cash Management, including compilation of rolling Group Cash Flow Forecast

· Support month-end reporting process

· Support proposals team in Cash Flow Forecasts on all new contract quotations.

· Contract analysis

· Business partner to Departmental heads. Including overhead variance analysis & accounts Receivable

· Detailed analysis of subsidiaries' business performance

· Analysis of research and development costs. Support in compiling R&D tax claims

· Analysis of rectification, warranty and troubleshooting costs

· Support in compiling annual budget

· Any other duties as and when required by the Financial Controller / Finance Director

· Good communication, organisation, and information recording skills.

· Previous experience in a financial analysis role. CIMA Part-qualified strongly preferred

· Financial modelling skills

· Good work ethic and willingness to develop their knowledge.

· Computer literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· The ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure to deadlines.

· Prior experience of an engineering workplace would be advantageous.
