Junior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented individual who will lead graphic design for the brand and assist with our creative design agency. We are looking for a candidate who can deliver under short deadlines while producing quality work, who can bring a unique and creative flair to designs and, someone who is willing to take the Permanently Unique brand - to new levels. Working as a team and independently, using initiative, passion and drive throughout all work projects.

Permanently Unique is a group of modern, luxury and captivating restaurants that connects with guests by taking them on a unique customer journey. Leading the way in brand identity, over the past nine years we have built an international following through our dramatic interiors, specialist cuisine, young, fresh service style and social media presence.

We launched our flagship Tattu London site in 2022 and our brand has now evolved with the launch of Fenix and Louis which will open in September 2024 with more exciting projects planned for 2024 and beyond. We're looking for a dynamic, confident and inspiring in-house Graphic Designer / Artworker to join our brand and marketing team.

As a Graphic Designer you will support our marketing team and external design agency.

The Role Includes

• Working on updating, designing, and maintaining menu designs


• Developing innovative concepts and applying creativity that keeps the business, unique and at the forefront of guest's minds


• Utilising strong typography and layout skills


• Has an eye for detail


• The freedom to be creative, within brand standards


• Applying designs across a range of media, inclusive of both print and digital


• Art working from concept to production-ready artwork, with a consistent attention to detail


• Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure material is printed to the highest standard


• Be brave and offer input to creative meetings and sharing ideas


• Generating ideas in response to creative briefs for Permanently Unique's campaigns and activations
  
  Innovative portfolio showcasing a variety of design work


• Experience with design programmes e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)


• Experience with Airship and/or MailChimp for email marketing


• A passion for innovation and discovering the latest digital trends and technologies


• Experience in designing collateral for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Emailers. Producing: JPGs, MP4 and GIFs for Instagram reels, video content and stills.


• A solid track record of delivering successful design projects from conception to completion


• Being comfortable working to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quality of work - no two days are ever the same!


• Experience with WordPress would be a bonus


• A quick learner


• Can work in faced-paced environments


• At least 1 year industry experience


• A love for restaurants and the hospitality industry


• Thrives in both team and independent working


• The role will be based at our HQ in Manchester City Centre
