Full Job Description

Manchester University Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Clinical Fellow doctor at CT1/CT2 level in General Surgery across the WTWA site. Present vacancies are across the surgical specialties from August 2024

The posts are suitable for doctors who have completed Foundation or Core Surgical Training. These posts are for 6-12 months but can be extended up to 24 months.

Candidates must have an active license with the GMC at the point of application. Candidates who do not fit this criteria will not progress through to the shortlisting stage., The post-holder will work closely under the direction of the General Surgery Consultants and Specialty Registrar Trainees with duties to include day-to-day inpatient care, operating with and assisting senior team members in theatre and Out-Patient clinics.

The out-of-hours commitment will include a full shift rota at 1 in 12 frequency
