Full Job Description

Joining our existing Management Accountant team you will collaborate to prepare monthly management accounts and support the Group Financial Controller in special projects. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic finance professional that's personable, keen to learn and eager to take responsibility and rise to challenges.

- Access to private underground car park, Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of associated schedules.
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of the management accounts.
- Preparing and posting month-end journals for multiple companies.
- Ownership of section(s) of the Profit and Loss accounts across multiple entities and/or profit centres.
- Working with colleagues across the business to investigate and resolve queries.
- Preparing ad-hoc analysis and contributing to special projects

Finance or Accountancy degree/qualification (AAT)
- Working towards financial qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Previous experience in a finance role (E.G. Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable)
- Excellent Excel and general IT skills
- Experience of Sage 200 is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality, with high levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in the UK and to receive a clear DBS check.
- Preference may be given to those with experience of working in the social care sector in a finance role in a high volume, multi-site business.
