Full Job Description

To support Head and Deputy Head of Imaging and Clinical Service Support Manager with any day-to-day operational issues and to ensure that services are running effectively and efficiently and meeting national access targets, The post holder will undertake and successfully complete a 2-year Level 6 Apprenticeship in Operational Management

To provide day-to-day operational management support to the clinical Service leads with the aim of ensuring from a non-clinical perspective the department is running effectively and efficiently and meeting national access targets.

To provide administration support and cover to the Clinical Support Service Manager (CSSM) as appropriate

To supporting Head of Imaging and clinical team in the developing services in accordance to their clinical strategy. This will include Clinical Service leads, Consultants, Matrons and Head of Nursing

To support the development Quality Standards for Imaging (QSI) and Quality Improvements Plans (QIP) implementation of service improvement as appropriate and general development of services. You will play a key part in supporting change and help clinical teams plan and review care pathways.

Working closely with the Patient Access Team ensuring appointments/admissions are booked in a timely manner against the KPIs attached for service specific pathways.
