Junior Physical Gas Oil Broker

To assist the Physical Gas Oil brokers with all aspects of the trade entry process, ensuring timely and accurate trade entry inline with market regulations. Point of contact for clients, broker and internal departments to resolve any queries relating to the trades. Overall Responsibilities

• Ensuring all top day trades are allocated, cleared & accepted in a timely & efficient manner
• Working closely with front office brokers, assisting with all queries & requirements
• Deal Entry into in-house systems
• Deal Entry into external exchange systems
• Configuration & monitoring of counterparty commission rates
• Providing Back Office Administration support as required
• To ensure written procedures are in place and up to date at all times
• Report & escalate issues to your line manager
• Assisting the Brokerage Department with Queries
• Efficient email management, both of personal and group inboxes
• Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the FCA and other appropriate regulatory bodies
• Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
• Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
• At all times complying with the FCA's Code of Conduct
• Carrying out regulatory activities under the Marex Financial and MSIL trading books
• Liaising with clients; clients include [banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutionals, trading houses and other trading boutiques]
• To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
• To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
• To escalate risk events immediately
• To provide input to risk management processes, as required.

• IT and Trayport Global Vision experience, either from a brokerage or trading house would be
an advantage, but is not essential
