Full Job Description

  • To ensure a high standard, efficient and effective physiotherapy assessment treatment and intervention for all patients for whom he/she is responsible.
  • To assess and treat and manage own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including the maintenance of comprehensive records.
  • To work as an effective team member, communicating appropriately with patients, carers and other team members as required.
  • To supervise physiotherapy assistants and may be involved in teaching MDT staff.
  • To undertake an evidence-based project throughout each rotation to further theclinical practice of self and the team, and to enhance patient care.
  • Duties within each rotation are delegated by the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for the area.
  • Staff may be required to work across multiple sites dependent upon the needs of the service.
  • The post holder will be expected to work as part of a seven-day rota and extended hours during some of the rotations.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist looking to start or progress their Physiotherapy career to join our dynamic team.
  • The post holder will rotate on a four-monthly basis between the clinical areas of: Critical Care, Respiratory, Acute Medicine, frailty, Neurology (including Stroke, neurosurgery step down) Orthopaedics (elective and trauma), surgery and Musculoskeletal Outpatients. The successful candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills and will have wide ranging undergraduate student Physiotherapy experience.
