Full Job Description
The Public Relations Junior Press Officer will support the Fashion PR Team with strategic editorial and influencer activations from concept to execution, in addition to helping boost desirability of our products, with disruptive and creative eventing, special projects and photo shoots. The goal is to offer the ultimate press and influencer experiences while remaining #1 in the DMR rankings. In this position, the Junior Press Officer will creatively share our vision and promote the brand storytelling while safeguarding our image. What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Take the lead in the implementation and management of all CHANEL Fashion editorials for print and digital with all our UK media partners. You will also be in charge of all international shoot requests taking place in the UK.
- Build and maintain relationships with key fashion editors, journalists, POI and stylists; to pitch campaign stories, product placement, digital activations with embedded content, and negotiated social.
- Work together with Head of Press on the UK PR strategy for fashion.
- Monitor CHANEL Fashion PR performance on DMR and LEFTY platforms to update team on monthly ranking and deep dive into main competitor's success. Together with Head of PR to create a strategy to adapt to monthly results to stay #1.
- Create all press and influencer activation reports and share internally with local Fashion teams and Global Fashion PR.
Previous experience in a PR-related position (2-3 years) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Well-organised, able to work with deadlines
- Ability to prioritise workload, requests, and spontaneous scenarios
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround
- Demonstration of being a team-player
- Strong interest for fashion
- Knowledge of DMR and LEFTY platforms You are energised by:
