Junior QA

We're looking for a motivated Junior QA to join our team at Palethorpes Bakery, where you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality, safety, and legality. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to grow their skills and develop into a Senior QA role. What you will do: As a Junior QA, you'll:

• Ensure timely completion of QA schedules or escalate issues as necessary.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance and foreign body reports.
• Conduct basic traceability and manage QA HOLD/release/rejection processes.
• Oversee micro-testing for food safety, including hand swabs, waters, air plates, and allergen testing.
• Support the QA team with essential duties, including deputising for the Senior QA when required.
  
  Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• An inquisitive mindset for problem-solving and the ability to escalate issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across all levels.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
