An exciting opportunity has arisen for band 6 Junior Sister / Charge Nurse in Haemodialysis at Royal London, Barts Health NHS Trust in the specialist medicine division. The junior sister / charge nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of clinical areas within the haemodialysis units. The junior sister / charge nurse has delegated responsibility for the management of clinical areas including assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of care and the setting of standards of quality care. To deputise for the senior sister / charge nurse in their absence when necessary. Working closely with the haemodialysis nursing team the post holder is responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of care to meet patient needs and Unit objectives. Demonstrating clinical expertise within haemodialysis in the assessment, planning, delivery of care using a holistic approach. The post holder must possess fundamental management and facilitation skills in order to co-ordinate and supervise the activity of Unit staff, promote multi-disciplinary working and foster a supportive, learning environment.
