Full Job Description

The post holder will support the ward manager in developing the team of registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the Cancer Assessment unit (CAU) working in collaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a high-quality service to patients. The post holder will also support with the smooth operation of Chemotherapy Hotline service ensuring it is adequately resourced and audited., The post holder will lead the team of registered nurses, nursing associates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the Cancer Assessment unit (CAU) in collaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a high-quality service to patients. The post holder will have overall responsibility for the Chemotherapy Hotline service ensuring it is adequately resourced, and audit of the service provided.
