Full Job Description

  • You'll be preparing food for the main restaurant service and hospitality service

  • Be extremely passionate about food and ensure each meal you plate up is to the highest standard

  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals

  • Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence

  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks

  • Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records

  • Running sections and working well as part of a busy team of chefs in a fast-paced environment

  • To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.

  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans

  • Full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergy info

  • Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage

  • Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.

  • Undertake relevant training as required

    Previous experience in a similar food service environment catering for a large volume

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Proven knowledge of quality food production

  • Relevant culinary qualification

  • Flexibility and the ability to innovate

    Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join the hotel team at Warwick Castle's Knights Village Hotel. This is an exciting full time opportunity reporting into our Head Chef on site and you will support with the production of breakfast and dinner on site at the Hotel.
