Full Job Description

The role of the UK Marketing Lead - Energy, is to support our Energy market sector to design and deliver inspiring marketing content and campaigns, promoting KBR, our capabilities and our people, to our existing and future customers, and with a focus on talent attraction. The role will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, and will be pivotal in delivering large multi-channel external campaigns and activity, including thought leadership programmes and media and trade association engagement. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced, fun team. They will be dedicated to identifying and leading marketing Energy business coordinated and delivered in and from the UK. They will work to develop a sector specific marketing strategy that positions us recognised, highly regarded brand, aligned with our existing and future capabilities. The individual will be highly motivated, have a flair for creativity and originality, and be willing to push the boundaries to introduce forward thinking ideas to a corporate setting. A 'can do', high energy approach is key to support the delivery of work. This role will allow the individual to drive new ideas, seeing them through from concept to delivery. The individual will work closely with the wider communications teams, including counterparts in other KBR businesses, as well as a creative team to support design and deliverables. They will have experience of working with senior leaders, a diverse employee base located across the region and a willingness to support colleagues in respect of wider communications activity, including global communications initiatives. Strong written skills and experience working with media, including trade press, will be key to help create and promote content, and to build trusted enduring relationships. A strong understanding and approach to measure Return on Investment (ROI) across activity types is key. The individual will become a brand ambassador for KBR, helping encompass a true One KBR (one team) approach to communications and marketing delivery. Responsibilities

  • Develop and set the Energy Marketing Strategy
  • Be a trusted advisor to UK and regional leaders, offering strategic advice and guidance on Marketing and helping understand marketing needs.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of targeted marketing strategies
  • Establish strong links across to internal communications, working on a joint approach to support initiatives
  • Identify opportunities throughout the sales pipeline and develop campaigns to drive new conversations, nurture opportunities and customer engagement
  • Oversee delivery of major market sector events and activities, developing messaging and aligning approach across the business - both in-person and virtual
  • Support delivery of corporate initiatives within the region
  • Establish activity evaluation approach and track metrics to effectively evidence ROI
  • Act as a brand guardian.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of press releases and stories to promote KBR
  • Lead successful multi-channel communication campaigns, including a strong awareness targeted social media campaigns.
  • Oversea a tailored marketing and events calendar to support and report on activity.
