Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our expanding team. You will be joining us at a pivotal time as we explore multiple avenues of growth with our general insurance distribution partners. As a Key Account Manager, you will operate as the relationship lead for specific Key Accounts, predominantly managing general agents (MGAs), ensuring that our partnerships generate mutual benefits whilst creating compelling customer propositions. Many of our employees work flexibly in a variety of different ways, including part-time, flexible hours, job share, an element of working from home or compressed hours.   • Work under minimal supervision, collaborating with Portfolio, Claims and Governance teams to secure profitable, organic growth with Key Accounts and ensure positive customer outcomes are delivered.
  • Lead ongoing performance reviews against contractual and regulatory obligations, driving output to conclusion.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your Key Accounts to maintain and enhance the positive reputation of Zurich and our distribution partners.
  • Continually develop a network in the delegated authority market to enhance Zurich's reputation and support the identification of future opportunities.

    Build strong relationships with senior counterparts in your Key Accounts, up to Board level, utilising your excellent negotiation and influencing skills to deliver results and ensure positive customer outcomes.
  • Confidence to understand, negotiate and administer legal agreements is essential.
  • Strong leadership traits, with an ability to drive performance through wider teams.
  • High resilience and clarity of thought, with an ability to identify positive outcomes to complex or challenging situations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK General Insurance market and delegated distribution dynamics, including managing both top and bottom-line results in an insurance portfolio.
  • Ideally ACII, Dip CII, and/or degree qualified, with a proven track record in successful relationship management, preferably within a B2B sales and/or marketing environment.

    Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience plus a range of excellent benefits., The financials
