With sales in excess of £90m across 40+ sites and a team of 500 people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales' largest independent builders' merchant is looking to appoint a Key Accounts Manager to join our dedicated Key Accounts Sales team based out of Head Office, Ammanford. We are looking for someone that can:

  • Take ownership and growth of a Key Accounts Ledger.
  • Pro-actively identify customers needs and requirements to develop a personalised sales strategy for each account.
  • Nurture and foster partnering arrangements to maximise potential sales and margin.
  • Identify further key accounts opportunities, working towards an improved customer base.
  • Developing a full 'basket' of goods and maximizing wallet share with all Key customers
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with Key Stakeholders in Regional - National Contractors
  • To assist in completion of tenders
  • Demonstrate a real passion for outstanding customer service through high customer visibility and facilitating commercial partnerships.

  • Have a sound knowledge of IT systems as well as sales information systems (e.g. BI, CRM, Intact).
