Key Stage 1 or 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 2 - Beamont Primary Academy

The Governors of Beamont Primary Academy are looking to appoint an effective and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking staff. The appointed person will primarily work in Key Stage 1 or 2 but may be asked to work in any year group throughout the school. This is a morning 15 hour contract with a 10 additional hours available in the afternoon if desired. This is a fixed term contract until August 2025. We are looking for someone who:

• Can work collaboratively with other staff in the team.
• Can contribute to observations and assessments of children's learning.
• Can adjust activities according to pupil learning styles and individual needs.
• Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
• Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
• Has a positive approach to managing children's behaviour.
