Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset. Hourly rate of £11.44, The successful Kitchen Assistant will

• Take on a range of kitchen responsibilities.


• Pot washing.


• Collect, clean and replenish all crockery and kitchen utensils in a prompt and efficient manner.


• Assist the kitchen team with preparation of various food dishes.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.


• Work with the Head Chef to assist with responsibility of various aspects within the kitchen.


• Prepare fresh ingredients including dough, and cook and serve quality pizza from our external wood fired oven.
  
  Some previous experience within a busy kitchen environment is desired. Catering qualifications and Level 3 Food Safety are desirable but not essential.


A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.,

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be across 5 variable days which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shift start times are 11 : 00am / 12 : 00pm and finish times are no later than 21 : 30pm with a 1 hour break. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.,
