Kitchen Assistant

Learning recipes and cooking dishes to our expected high quality and standards
Provide support to kitchen manager during food preparation and service
Assist the Kitchen manager with the collection of catering ingredients.
Help the kitchen manager carry out daily HACCP and opening & closing checks in accordance with food safety regulations.
Must ensure kitchen appliances, equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls are cleaned, sanitised and well maintained daily to industry standards.
Assist the team when receiving and unloading deliveries whilst making sure stock is stored properly by tidying and maintaining storage rooms.
Attend training online and in person.

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented kitchen assistants willing to be trained up to kitchen manager, joining our team at our kitchen in Nine Elms / Stockwell area.
Our small team is well known for being friendly, enthusiastic, and dynamic, and for providing fabulous customer service. We pride ourselves on delivering a balance of knowledgeable service and warm, personable hospitality.

Previous experience within the hospitality industry and food safety knowledge.
Willingness to be trained up to Kitchen Manager
Full UK Drivers Licence (Clean licence)
Able to work early morning and evening shifts, plus some weekends.
Willing to participate in catering events
