Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant who will help our residents enjoy every day by making sure they receive the quality nutritional experiences they deserve., Assisting the Cook with preparing, cooking, and serving meals

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment

Reviewing kitchen inventory, unloading supplies, and organizing the stockroom

To ensure tables are attractively set with all the appropriate crockery and utensils

Considering residents' religious and cultural backgrounds, and preparing meals to meet individual medical needs

Hours: Average of 22.75 hours per week on a rolling two-week rota. Mondays to Sundays (including Bank Holidays).

Job Purpose: To assist the Cook with the preparing of a variety of nutritionally balanced meals for residents and staff

Salary: £11.44 per hour (pay award pending)

Contract Period: Permanent
