Kitchen assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant in the Sushi and hot food section, you will be part of a busy food production kitchen, your role is essential in preparing the key components of sushi sold at Ichiba and other dishes. Your role consists of making sushi, preparing ingredients, cooking rice, making sauces and many other items. Experience is not required, as we will train you on the job.,

• Sushi rolling
• Preparing and Cooking ingredients
• Packaging food ready to be sold on the shop floor

• MUST be able to work on the weekends
• Must have at least 1 year working experience in kitchen / food production environment
• Good English and good communication skills
• Displays initiative and can easily adapt in a fast pace work environment
• Fully flexible
• Experience with Sushi rolling is would be an advantage, but is not essential.
A two hour trial shift is required before employment will be considered.
