This is a permanent role within an award-winning care home, where the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen, while providing personalized care and support to the residents., As a Kitchen Assistant at Akari Care, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including creating menus, plating up, arranging trollies, and ensuring each resident's individual needs are met. You will work closely with the Cook and the wider catering team to maintain high standards of food preparation and service, while being mindful of the residents' cultural and religious backgrounds. The key focus is ensuring mealtimes are an enjoyable experience for all residents, where their individual needs are catered for.
