Sitting in the heart of the Copr Bay development, Swansea Arena is a landmark 3,500 capacity multi-purpose indoor arena which opened its doors in March 2022. Hosting some of the most recognised names in live music, comedy and theatre, the fully-modular arena also hosts e-sports, conferences and events.

Working with the wider venue team, you will support the operational delivery of events in the venue, including theatre performances, music gigs, and comedy shows - ensuring our customers have the best possible experience in our Front of House spaces. As well as this, you will work closely with the Conference and Events team in the delivery of other venue hires such as conferences, banquets and exhibitions.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work as part of the kitchen team, reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Head Chef and the rest of the brigade. The focus of the role will involve all aspects within the kitchen department. You will help support the kitchen team in maintaining the structure and cleanliness in our busy programme of live music, comedy, theatre, conferences, and events. This is a great opportunity to work in the events industry, in a 3500-capacity venue.

If you are a reliable, trustworthy, and enthusiastic about developing your skills, then a job as a Kitchen Assistant may be the perfect job for you! You will report to all team members within the kitchen environment, and main duties will include: basic food preparation, cleaning and washing up, handling stock deliveries. We welcome participants from all backgrounds to apply and appreciate transferable skills from other industries. Shifts can be fast paced within the kitchen and a great deal of stamina is a must. Being flexible and having a proactive mindset is essential for this role.
