Kitchen Assistant - Rowde

We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated catering team at our Rowde site. You'll be part of a team that takes great pride in their work, their food and their school. The role involves working closely with both staff and students., Your role will involve serving prepared meals at lunchtime, and possibly helping with the catering for meetings. You will be responsible for;

• Preparing the food hall for meals and cleaning down after the students have eaten lunch
• Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy, adhering to food standards and H&S requirements.
  
  Silverwood School is a maintained co-educational special school for pupils aged 4-19 years. We formed in September 2020 with campuses in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Rowde.

Grade B Scale 2, £12.26 per hour. Approx. Salary - £6,697 We are committed to all aspects of personal development, it is inclusive and seeks to ensure every individual achieves. You will be part of the Wiltshire Council Pension Scheme, Wiltshire Employee Rewards, offered continuous professional development and a comprehensive wellbeing package TERMS The successful candidate will be required to work - Term-time only (38 weeks a year) - Monday to Friday, 11:30 until 14:00 Total hours per week = 12 hours and 30 minutes.
