Kitchen Assistant (schools)

Cardiff Council is looking for a Kitchen Assistant (Grade 2) to support the school meals provision within Cardiff secondary schools. This temporary position is to cover seasonal demand, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintaining high standards in meal preparation and service., Assist in the preparation and serving of school meals.
Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Help with stock control and the management of kitchen supplies.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Perform general kitchen duties including dishwashing and cleaning.

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A strong team player with good communication skills.
Hours & Pay

25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 15:00 PM)
