Kitchen Assistant / Server / Cleaner

We are now seeking talented Catering Assistant/Porter to join our fantastic team! The Assistant will need to quickly collect trays, plates, cutlery from dining room and wash them as they will be used again by other students. They will also need to wash pots and pans.

This Catering Assistant role will also see you work closely with the Cook and kitchen Team. The kitchen is modern and has excellent amenities to be able to provide the highest level of food quality and hygiene.

You may from time to time need to assist in the preparation and serving of school meals to students with a variety of dietary needs. These include different levels of pureeing, dietary requirements, and allergies. You will manage stock levels alongside the cook and support them in their absence. You will have exceptional hygiene and health & safety whilst adhering to school policy and procedures.

• A Catering Assistant with exceptional hygiene standards


• Knowledge of specialist dietary requirements


• Previous experience in a school kitchen would be ideal but not essential


• A passion for cooking and providing a high level of health & safety
