Full Job Description
- Assist with the preparation of meals and the cleaning of serveries, kitchens and staff areas on a daily basis
- Assist in washing crockery, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils and kitchen equipment
- Distribute and collect crockery from the residents
- Relay and clear tea trolleys where applicable
- Accept and process kitchen deliveries, ensuring correct storage and inventory rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Carry out any reasonable request or instruction from the Home Manager or Head Chef
The right to live and work in the UK - Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is essential to be considered
- An understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH
- A caring nature, positive attitude and the ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
