Kitchen & Back of House / Goods in Porter

· Ensure the plates, china, pots and pans, cutlery and pot wash area supplies, are available when required, ensuring kitchen areas are always cleaned.

· Discard any chipped or broken crockery immediately in a safe manner.

· Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen / goods in areas

· Closely support the kitchen team and consistently deliver high standards in Cleanliness, Hygiene & Safety, delivery acceptance and waste removal.

· Monitor and support high standards of cleanliness consistently.

· Accept deliveries ensuring all items are correctly delivered & within date codes, storing them in the appropriate secured locations as instructed. Ensuring the correct procedure is adhered to & records kept in line with the company Food hygiene policy

· Implement the Health and Safety policy & ensure the delivery area is free from obstructions and be aware of unsafe practices, such as dangerous stacking

The hours of work will vary and will include weekends, and holiday periods.

This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. Therefore, you may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.
