Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivate and committed Kitchen Operative to join our team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen operations. You'll be responsible for all aspects of food production and washing up during your shifts, leading a small team of kitchen assistants and ensuring our high standards of quality and cleanliness are met.,

  • Oversee and run all kitchen operations, including menu preparation, plating, and ensuring timely food service.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.

  • Supervise and/or help with washing up

  • Delegate tasks and effectively lead a small team of kitchen assistants.

  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain stock levels and report to the line manager when purchases are needed.

    Stanlake Park is a thriving vineyard and winery, with a Wine Bar offering a delicious selection of charcuterie and cheese boards, dips, and small plates alongside our wines. We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.


  • We are an independent company, run by a small team. We all know and care for each other, and organise social team meetings once a month.

    We are just 30 minutes to central London on the Elizabeth Line; the train station is only 15 minutes away by foot., Stanlake Park in Twyford, Berkshire, is a working vineyard, wine bar, wedding venue and provider of holiday accommodation set within 130 acres of surrounding grounds.

    We've been producing wine using our own grapes since 1979. Our range includes traditional method sparkling white and rosé, and a great variety of still whites, reds and rosé.

    We have a very busy Wine Bar & Cellar Shop, run Wine Tours & Tastings every weekend, organise events and host around 100 weddings per year.

    We are a small, passionate and very hardworking team performing a range of tasks, and we are always happy to hear from enthusiastic, committed and friendly people.

    We will consider both part-time and full-time candidates. These are permanent positions, not zero hours contract.

    Typical days/hours would be between Wednesday to Sunday. The latest we close is 9 pm in July/August, but typical closing hours are 6 pm or 8 pm.

    We don't prepare hot food, so food preparation and washing up is relatively simple (no pans and pots, nothing too complicated).,
