Full Job Description

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be a key member of the friendly catering team and you will help to maintain the cleanliness of all Catering Areas, ensuring that the highest possible standards are continually maintained. You will be expected to take control of the day to day cleaning operations within the Catering Department, as detailed within the due diligence logbook and record as evidence that all tasks have been completed.

It is extremely important that you are able to contribute to the team ethos of supporting each other as well as being able to work reliably unsupervised. At times, it can become an extremely busy place to work, so you should also have the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst maintaining a positive attitude. It will also be highly desirable that you are able to communicate effectively with the customers that you encounter and in a helpful manner.
